This lure effectively targets bull bluegills, crappies, perch, walleyes, pike, and trout throughout the year. It can be vertically jigged on the bottom or at higher depths for suspended fish. When lifted, the lure darts upward and swims in a semi-circle during its descent, making it enticing to predators. It also provokes bites when cast and either hovered or raised and lowered slowly. You can use it plain or enhance its effectiveness by tipping the belly treble with a minnow head.
