User Manual:
Depress the safety latch and hold it down. Thread the fishing line through the passage so that it moves freely.
Release the safety latch and position yourself directly above the snagged lure. Caution! To prevent sudden recoil towards the operator, do not use in water less than three feet deep (1 meter).
Keep the fishing line taut and allow the retriever to slide down to the snagged lure.
When contact with the leader is made, release the tension on the fishing line.
Pull on the yellow cord, and the lure should be released.
