The BOG DeathGrip Aluminum Shooting Tripod with Caldwell Flash Bang Target Hit Indicator combines two useful shooting accessories into one complete package: a rugged shooting tripod for firearm stability and an electronic hit indicator for visual confirmation of impacts on steel targets.
The BOG DeathGrip features rugged aluminum legs and an innovative clamping head designed to securely hold a firearm in position. Non-marring jaw inserts help protect the firearm's stock, while the clamping design can hold the rifle in place and free the shooter's hands when needed.
The adjustable head provides 360° panoramic rotation, up to 25° of tilt, and adjustable tension. Independently adjustable legs with lever locks allow for quick setup in different shooting positions and on uneven terrain.
Also included is the Caldwell Flash Bang Target Hit Indicator, an electronic impact indicator designed for steel targets. When an impact is detected, 10 ultra-bright green LEDs flash, providing immediate visual confirmation of a successful hit.
Its low-energy impact detection is sensitive enough to detect .223 Rem. hits at distances up to 1,000 yards under the manufacturer's stated conditions. The bright LEDs are designed to remain visible at extremely long distances, even in bright daylight.
The compact Flash Bang works with most steel targets larger than 5 inches and attaches easily behind the target using heavy-duty hook-and-loop material. It is powered by 3 included AA batteries.
