The Browning BLR Lightweight ’81 Stainless Takedown (.30-06, 22") is a modern lever-action built for harsh hunts and easy travel. Its tool-free takedown splits the rifle into two compact pieces in seconds for pack-friendly carry, then reassembles without loss of zero when using the factory drilled & tapped, scout-style forward scope base (optional). A matte stainless steel barrel, satin-nickel receiver, and gray laminated hardwood stock minimize glare, while TRUGLO/Marble Arms fiber-optic front and adjustable rear sights speed target acquisition in low light.
Inside, the BLR’s rack-and-pinion lever action cycles long cartridges smoothly into a detachable box magazine, and the integrated lever-and-trigger preserves trigger position through the stroke. The folding hammer offers four positions (full-cock, half-cock, folded, fired) for added safety and versatility. Sling swivel studs come installed.
